Usually your photos stand alone without explanations. This one seems to need one. I’m not sure why. Does this statute represent all children? Just girls? Just one child in particular? Where is it? In a park, near a school?
13.Jan.07, 02:46It is in the Nanjing 1912 complex, a vaguely historical but completely fabricated shopping area here. And there is no explanation to this statue. Although there are some others like it down the road which have some writing next to them that is maybe an explanation, but I doubt it.
And this the only thing of interest at 1912 besides the Starbucks. The rest is over priced restaurants and bars. If you are going to overcharge me for crappy pad tai that tastes like it came from a box, don’t charge for using the god damn plates and napkins!!!
13.Jan.07, 13:57In 1912, Sun Zhongshan(孙中山) established the first Chinese people’s government in Nanjing. About that girl I think she is just represtented the people of that time. And Chris, If you really don’t like it there, you could go back to where you from! Please don’t god damn this, god damn that!
